Welcome to the Hume Better Ageing Website 

The aim of the website is to provide:

• A collaboration between consumers and providers regarding the services and requirements of our aging population.
• Information to keep consumers and providers up to date with promoting health independence initiatives in the Hume region.
• Links to relevant sites containing best practice information on  Improving Care  For Older People (IC4OP) topics.
• Access  for  health  services across the Hume region to best practice information and resources on improving  care  for older people, generated within the region.
• The ability for Hume region health providers be part  of  the HumeHEALTH Web Portal  which includes web promotion, marketing and  education and actively  engages  all agencies in the Hume regions in the use of web based communication and the "Portals" participating agencies and programs.
• Access  for  health services  across the Hume region to the older person  friendly consumer publications register & guidelines, with electronic access to publications where possible.
• Access  for  health  services  across  the  Hume region  to share information and resources on older person friendly environments,  specific care needs  initiatives  within  the  region and other resource information that may be identified.
