The HumeREPS Team

Hume REPS is a partnership between Goulburn Valley Area Mental Health Service, Northeast Health Wangaratta, Wodonga Regional Health Service and the Victorian Department of Human Service.

Hume REPS’ Mission

Hume Region Early Psychosis Service mission is to provide a responsive, evidence based and evaluated service to young people and their carers in the Hume region experiencing early psychosis.

Aims

Hume Region Early Psychosis Service seeks to engage young people experiencing a First episode of psychosis  early so as to reduce the period of untreated Psychosis and promote recovery.

Early Psychosis

Early Psychosis refers to the prodromal  and onset phase of the disorder and up to six months following the initial remission of positive symptoms.

Hume REPS Target Group

Young people between the ages of 16 -25 years who reside in the Hume Health Region and who:
• Displaying a vulnerable mental state and are at high risk of progressing to Psychosis.
• Experiencing Early Psychosis;
• At risk of or having relapsed following a First Episode of Psychosis.
